Call it peer pressure or our our own desire to look healthy, we simply do not like putting on weight and for many, losing weight is an obsession that can force them to make drastic decisions, like skipping meals, working out excessively or even undergoing surgery to remove small bits of fat. 

But did you know that your body is burning a large number of calories just to stay alive? Or you can simply breathe out your extra fat. Sounds puzzling. Well, the answers lie in this short video by Life Noggin below and you would be happy to know that you need not beat yourself up for putting on a few pounds.
